Thinking Better in a Digital World
Today we live with phones, internet, and many messages every
day.
Some information is true.
Some information is not true.
Critical thinking means:
I stop.
I think.
I check the information.
I ask questions.
Media literacy means:
I understand what I read.
I understand what I watch.
I know when something is real or fake.
These skills help me in my life and my farm work.
Some
of the practical information for what to do on the farm comes from internet posts, so it's important to discriminate what's useful and what isn't, and above all, to distribute my time well between what is real and tangible and what is virtual.
I can make better decisions.
I can protect myself from false news.
I can choose good information to learn English and grow my projects.
Thinking better helps us live better.
